## Free intake call

**Free · 30 minutes · video call**

The place to start if you are not sure what you need. We work out which service fits, what
it will involve, and what it will cost. If the honest answer is that you do not need any of
it yet, you will be told so.

The intake call is for working out the right next step, not for hands-on help. If you
already know what you want to ask, the drop-in hour is the better fit.

## Drop-in hour

**£95 · 60 minutes · video call · paid when you book**

For a short list of questions, answered properly. Bring whatever is on your mind:

- Checking a step in a setup you are about to do, before you do it
- Working out what a warning, prompt or firmware update in your wallet means
- Deciding whether a message, email or "support" contact is genuine
- Talking through how and where to store a backup
- A second opinion on something you have already set up

The same rules apply as every other session: you never show a recovery phrase, a private
key or an unlocked wallet, and nothing said is investment, legal or tax advice. A drop-in
hour does not include a written report. If it turns out you need a structured review, you
will be told so.

## Private onboarding session

**From £195 · 90 minutes to a day · live, one-to-one on a video call**

For people new to self-custody, or whose crypto is still on an exchange. Choosing and
checking a hardware wallet, setting it up from scratch, generating and backing up the
recovery phrase, sending a test amount, confirming it landed, then moving the rest. You
leave with a working wallet you set up yourself, a verified backup, and a written record of
your setup.

£195 covers a single wallet with a single backup in one 90-minute session, including the
written summary afterwards. More devices, more networks, or a setup that needs a longer
session moves the price up. You will have the exact figure in writing after the intake call,
before you commit to anything.

## Threat and security review

**From £295 · structured review plus written report**

For people who already self-custody and have not reviewed the setup. A walk through what you
already have across four failure channels — phishing, device, backup loss and succession —
followed by a written, prioritised list of what to fix worst-first and an explicit list of
what is already fine.

£295 covers a single wallet with a single backup. Multiple devices, multisig, or a business
setup sits higher. The exact figure is confirmed in writing after the intake call.

Every review includes succession: whether your family could find and use your crypto if
something happened to you. See [crypto inheritance and family access](https://keycompass.co.uk/inheritance).

## How paying works

- **Drop-in hour:** paid by card when you book.
- **Onboarding sessions and reviews:** you receive a written scope and quotation after the
intake call, then an invoice to pay by bank transfer. Your time is confirmed once payment
  has been received.
- **Rescheduling:** once, free of charge, with at least 48 hours' notice.

## What no price includes

KeyCompass never holds your keys, your recovery phrase or your funds, and never asks for
them — not the words, not a photo, not part of it. No session includes advice on what to
buy, when, or how much. KeyCompass is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct
Authority. The work is technical and operational: how to hold safely what you already own.
