KeyCompass is UK-based and works remotely with clients anywhere. Sessions run over video call, scheduled in your timezone wherever the hours allow.
Verifying that it is really us
This section matters more than the addresses above. Read it before you reply to anything claiming to come from KeyCompass.
- KeyCompass never contacts you first about your crypto. We never phone you first. No unexpected email, no message on Telegram, WhatsApp or LinkedIn. Every conversation about your own crypto, or an estate, starts with you booking it. Anyone approaching you out of the blue about your crypto and claiming to be Simon is not Simon.
- The one exception is professional firms. KeyCompass may write to solicitors, will writers and other professional firms, by post or by email to the firm, to offer a free briefing for their team, and may phone the firm's office to follow up a letter already sent. These approaches never mention a client, never ask for anything sensitive, and are never made by LinkedIn message.
- Only one phone number is ours: +44 (0)1603 381989. If a call claims to be from KeyCompass, hang up and call that number back yourself. Caller ID can be faked; a number you dial yourself cannot.
- Only one LinkedIn page is KeyCompass: linkedin.com/company/keycompass, alongside Simon's own profile at uk.linkedin.com/in/simongeils. A page or profile using the KeyCompass name that is not one of those two is not KeyCompass, however convincing the logo looks.
- Only two addresses are ever used:
hello@keycompass.co.ukandsimon@keycompass.co.uk. Read the address character by character before you reply. Lookalike domains cost a few pounds, and a single swapped letter is the oldest trick in this business. - The answer to "send me your recovery phrase" is always no. Not to KeyCompass, not to a support agent, not to a wallet app, not to anyone, ever. Someone asking is someone stealing from you, and stopping mid-sentence is always the right call.

Every engagement begins with a free thirty-minute intake call. There is no obligation and no pitch. If KeyCompass is not what you need, you will be told so on the call.
Prices are fixed and published on the pricing page: a £95 drop-in hour, onboarding sessions from £195, and security reviews from £295. The exact figure for a session or review is confirmed in writing after the intake call.
